“In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.” ― Phil Collins[1]

Cadets from the Philippine National Police Academy visited the various office divisions of the Baguio City Police Office to learn more about how they function and carry out their duties to better serve the Baguio community. Despite their many accomplishments from the previous year, the BCPO remains the country's top organization.

Studying is a continuous process in which information and experience are transformed into abilities and knowledge. Learning, in my opinion, is a two-way street that involves both the learner and the educator and leads to knowledge and capability acquisition. It informs my educational sector by ensuring that both students and teachers participate in the learning process in order to make it more real and enjoyable for the learners. Students hold a variety of learning concepts, and these views influence teaching and learning in various ways.

Learning is the acquisition of new knowledge that will have a significant impact on our well being. Learning new skills and techniques is important because it allows an individual to have intelligent conversations with others. There may be an emergency situation at a business, and if a person has learned the necessary skills, he or she could be a valuable asset to the company. After completing all of their academic requirements, college students can move on to bigger and better things in their lives.

To become a good learner, a person must have a learning mindset and make the decision to complete this task. For example, when a college student is studying for a test, he or she learns to memorize all of the facts and other important information prior to taking the test. Even after passing the exam, the learning process continues. To be a valuable tool in life, a student must be able to store all of this information in their heads and use it for future reference. People can learn in a variety of ways.

The organizational structure of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) would be similar to that of the Philippine National Police (PNP), of which the BCPO is a part. The Philippine National Police (PNP) is divided into several major operational and administrative units, including the National Headquarters, Police Regional Offices (PRO), Provincial and City Police Offices (PPO and CPO), and Police Stations.

Here is a basic overview of the Baguio City Police Office's organizational structure: Chief, PNP, Regional Director, Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-COR), City Director, Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), BCPO Administrative Division, BCPO Operations Division, BCPO Service Support Division, Police Stations, Each Police Station is led by a Station Commander and is responsible for maintaining peace and order and enforcing laws within its jurisdiction.
